Voicemail set-up instructions
Introduction
This Feature has been designed as a greeting for callers who telephone out of hours or when your telephones are not manned.
Setting up your Voicemail
To start, you will be guided through a tutorial which will give you a step by step guide to setting up your voicemail:
Lift your handset and dial 1722
· you will hear a system greeting quoting your mailbox number.Your mailbox number is the last ten digits of your 'phone number, including STD code, e.g. 01709336717
would have mailbox number 1709336717
You have now entered the set-up tutorial where you will be asked to enter a passcode, record your greeting and record your name
· press 8 to enter User Options
· press 7 to enter a passcode ( 4 - 10 digits you can remember easily)
· press 8 to enter User Options
· press 4 to record your personal greeting
· press # to end your personal greeting press 7 to review 9 to save and 3 to delete and re-record
· press 8 to enter User Options
· press 6 to record your name
· press # to end recording your name press 7 to review 9 to save and 3 to delete and re-record
*** Your voicemail will not be personalised until you have worked through this tutorial ***
Activating your Voicemail ( Switching it on/off )
Lift handset
· press * 70 (wait for tone) press 1722= FULL DIVERT to voicemail
· press # 70 (to cancel)
· press * 76 (wait for tone) press 1722= CALL DIVERT ON BUSY to voicemail
· press # 76 (to cancel)
· press * 77 (wait for tone) press 1722= CALL DIVERT ON NO REPLY to voicemail
· press # 77 (to cancel)
Retrieving Messages - from your desk
Lift handset. If you hear a continuous bleeping tone you have messages waiting. Dial 1722 followed by your passcode. Follow instructions.
Changing your Voicemail details (passcode/greeting/name)
Lift handset. Dial 1722 followed by your passcode. Press 8 for User Options. Follow instructions.
